Facebook Acquires Israeli Startup Redkix; Reports Value the Deal at $100 Million

Redkix is an email-integrated instant messaging app, founded by Oudi and Roy Antebi, which provides solution for better communication at the workplace. The app allows users to organise their emails and messages into group channels, according to different parameters such as topic and frequent contacts. Redkix will join “Workplace”, Facebook’s subscription-based social platform aimed for business corporations and organisations.

This is not the first major exit for the Antebi brothers. Their first startup OffiSync, a plugin for Microsoft Office that serves as a bridge between Office and Google Docs, was acquired by Social enterprise giant Jive Software in 2011.
